A backpack of tones
Slowing down, turning inwards to our feelings, finding intimacy, and understanding of the connection between chakras and self-expression, but, most importantly, working with the voice properly. All of this we tried to learn in the oasis of serenity that the room 401 became, at least for a while.
Gradually, by delving into our inner selves, we began to feel more intensely not only our surroundings and our bodies, but above all our emotions. It was going in deep with our feelings together with the right posture that helped us work properly with our feelings and our voices, which many of us didn't believe at the beginning.
Imagine a flower. From a tiny seed in the ground, a tiny plant grows and one day it blossoms. We started by looking for the deepest tone. However, as we gradually grew higher from the floor and became more and more confident, we gained the strength to technically invoke anger and pain: we demonstrated these with raw and guttural screams. The final exercise was to gain the ability to believe in our own personalities, to be confident and to show our voices off in all their glory in front of others.
The festival has almost passed. Before we know it, we'll be packing our suitcases again, hoping that the return to the festival reality won't be too harsh. Besides a lot of experiences, I will also pack in my backpack the experience that singing and properly connecting to one’s own emotions has beneficial effects on people. So, I wish for all of us as many melodies in our lives as possible so that we can meet again next year, balanced and inspired.
