V polovině dubna se Brnem prohnala Bouře kreativity a divadla, a to v podobě Mezinárodního festivalu divadelních škol SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER.

Letošní 34. ročník Mezinárodního festivalu divadelních škol SETKÁNÍ/ENCOUNTER 2024 organizovaný studenty JAMU se konal 16.-20. dubna v brněnských divadlech Studio Marta, Divadlo na Orlí, Divadlo Husa na provázku a samozřejmě na Divadelní fakultě Janáčkovy akademie múzického umění. Divadelní tvorbu přijelo představit celkem osm zemí – Česká republika (a to hned dvakrát – reprezentovala ji pražská DAMU a pořádající JAMU), Slovensko, Rakousko, Polsko, Lotyšsko, Švýcarsko, Ukrajina a Srbsko.

Joy in the Rhythm of Jazz

Dr. David Strnad’s workshop, entitled Jazz Dance Training, brought exhilaration, energy and, above all, a great atmosphere to room 202 of the Theatre Faculty of JAMU. This “freest” of dance techniques showed the participants how fun movement can be.

Radost v rytmu jazzu

Odvázání, energii, a hlavně skvělou atmosféru přinesl do místnosti 202 Divadelní fakulty JAMU workshop Davida Strnada s názvem Trénink jazzového tance. Tato jedna z „nejsvobodnějších“ tanečních technik účastníkům ukázala, jak zábavný dokáže být pohyb.

Metamorphoses of the Nights

The production “As we were” touches upon themes of adolescence, family dynamics, the acceleration of time, and high expectations. Right from the start, we encounter the main protagonist, who boards the train and wants to rest. Later, two other individuals join him: a mother searching for her son, and the aunt of the mentioned boy. Within the confines of a small compartment, conversations unfold, interwoven with invisible ties, and the symbolism of a railway subtly points to a rapidly changing world.

Proměny nocí

Inscenace As we were poukazuje na dospívání, problémy rodinného postavení, zrychlení času či na přílišná očekávání. Již na začátku potkáváme hlavního protagonistu, který si jde ve vlaku lehnout. Později se k němu přidávají další dvě osoby – matka, která hledá svého syna, a tetička zmíněného chlapce. V prostoru malého kupé se odehrává konverzace postav protkaných neviditelnými pouty a symbol železnice nenápadně poukazuje na rychle se měnící svět.
